After a tumultuous period of emotional highs and lows between the two, BBN housemate Kayikunmi has taken a risk by asking fellow roommate Isabella to be his girlfriend.
The proposal followed a contentious dispute that was brought on by Isabella’s annoyance at Kayikunmi’s increasing intimacy with the former BBN Head of House, Thelma Lawson.
Isabella publicly told acquaintances that Kayikunmi wasn’t her type and that she was no longer interested in a romantic relationship at the height of the conflict.
In a shocking turn of events, though, Kayikunmi requested Isabella to be his formal girlfriend when they were subsequently seen talking by the pool.
Taken by surprise, Isabella hesitated to answer. She reminded him of her previous choice to sever her relationship with him and acknowledged that she needed time to consider her options.

This comes after previous drama, from the viral scene during the first Saturday night party when Isabella briefly introduced herself to Kayikunmi. This caused emotional upheaval and internet controversy when Isabella tearfully confided in Thelma Lawson about Kayikunmi’s divided attention.
Isabella told Thelma that before he showed his interest in another flatmate, they were on the verge of being physically involved.
