Fuel List: NNPC Releases New Petrol Prices Nationwide After Fresh Increase

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) retail locations across the country have adjusted the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), commonly referred to as petrol.

According to the most recent prices, drivers in Lagos are now paying N840 per litre instead of N740, and residents of Abuja are paying N875 instead of N815.

Currently, the prices at which NNPCL retail locations dispense PMS vary according on the location.

According to inve4stigations, Ondo State had the lowest pump price at N745 per litre, followed by Kwara at N790 and Ekiti at N797, providing some respite to drivers in those regions.

Prices are still far higher in a number of other states, though, with Kano leading the pack at N915 per litre, followed by Ebonyi at N908 and Yobe at N895.

NNPC petrol prices nationwide 

Petrol prices are generally higher in sections of the North and South-East, while some South-West states recorded significantly lower rates, according to an analysis of NNPCL pump prices nationwide.

While Rivers, Delta, Anambra, Edo, and Imo were in the midrange, states like Adamawa, Gombe, Bauchi, and Bayelsa recorded rates near N890 per litre. Current petrol prices at NNPC stations.
