Oshiomhole warns Goodluck Jonathan says 2027 presidential ambition may be a costly mistake

According to Oshiomhole, only Goodluck Jonathan’s enemy would want him to throw his hat in the ring. He stated that if the former president decided to run in 2027, the All Progressives Congress, or APC, would beat him.

Oshiomhole said: “How can Jonathan be a threat? We defeated him before, when PDP was truly PDP. If a man had PDP at its peak, I think it is only his enemies that will push him into the ring.

“That may not be helpful to him. I think he has managed to demonstrate that out of power you can be relevant and really at peace.

“If I will be able to advise him, I will say ‘Sir, maintain this status’. If I were him I will spend the rest of my life trying to find relevance, which he has already found”.
