Deji Adeyanju, an activist lawyer who is also VDMs legal counsel, has described Peter Obi, a past presidential candidate for the Labour Party (LP), as the weapon used against Atiku Abubakar, a rival in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
According to Adeyanju, Peter Obi prevented Atiku from winning the presidency in 2023 and would do so once more in 2027.
Recall that Peter Obi contested for president alongside Atiku ran for president in 2019 on the PDP platform.
Former All Progressives Congress (APC) President Muhammadu Buhari defeated them in the election.
Takin to his X account, Adeyanju wrote, “Obi is the weapon fashioned against Atiku.
“He stopped him from becoming president in the last election and will do it again in 2027.
“Stop fighting for people not fighting for themselves. You cannot be more Catholic than the pope. Stop that over sabi now.”
This is coming just days after the senate president in a social media post slammed Peter Obi, asking him to first deal with his party issues before aspiring to be President.
Similarly, a former presidential aide, Hakeem Baba-Ahmed also stated that Obi should disregard his any intentions of running for presidency in 2027.
