Daniel Bwala, Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Media and Policy Communication, has confidently affirmed former LP presidential candidate and a chieftain of the African Democratic Congress(ADC), Peter Obi would never become president of Nigeria.
According to Bwala, Obi does not possess the qualities of someone who aspires to be Nigeria’s president.
Speaking on News Central TV’s 60 Minutes with Mr Kay on Friday, Bwala said: “Peter Obi will never be president. He will never cross the central business district that will lead Aso Villa.

Anybody that would be a president, there are characteristics that you will see.
“The person must be visionary, the person must be grassrooted, organic grassrooted, not manipulation, and the person must be sincere for whatever he is but won’t present a picture for what he is totally the opposite for who he is, Peter Obi will never be.”
According to Bwala, the former governor of Anambra State lacks grassroots backing

Additionally, he argued that Peter Obi had sold the Nigerian church a false narrative during the previous administration of the late former president Muhammadu Buhari.
“Peter Obi does not have a grassroot, what Obi did is that he went to the church with a narrative when Buhari was in government that the church is being disenfranchised and it’s time for the church to take back their country.

“That narrative is what he used in rallying support among pastors, bishops and that is not a grassroot support,” he added.
