Archbishop urges Tinubu to resign if unable to fix Nigeria’s economy.
Archbishop Professor Princewill Ariwodor, National Chairman of the Abia State Elders Consultative Forum, has called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to resign if he cannot address Nigeria’s economic issues. Speaking in response to the nationwide protests against hunger and poor governance, Ariwodor criticized Tinubu’s handling of the economy, stating that conditions have worsened under his leadership compared to the previous administration.
Ariwodor emphasized that the President should not have assumed office without viable solutions to the nation’s challenges, particularly the economic hardship caused by recent policies. He also warned against using force to suppress peaceful protests, asserting that citizens have the right to express their dissatisfaction. The Archbishop expressed concern over the country’s economic decay and urged for immediate action to improve the situation.
