Asari Dokubo Opposes Hunger Protest in Niger Delta.
Mujahid Asari-Dokubo has warned against extending the planned nationwide protest against hardship to the Niger Delta. Speaking in Port Harcourt, he emphasized that the region’s issues differ from the protest’s agenda. Asari-Dokubo accused the protest organizers of being interested only in the region’s resources and vowed to resist any protests in the area. He criticized the lack of focus on Niger Delta needs and highlighted past grievances, stating he would not oppose President Bola Tinubu despite ongoing regional issues like inadequate healthcare facilities.
