Domestic Staff Linked to Former EKSU DVC’s Abduction and Death—DSS.

The DSS has revealed that the kidnapping and murder of Professor Olorunfemi Olaofe, former Deputy Vice Chancellor of Ekiti State University, was orchestrated by his domestic staff.

Olaofe was abducted from his home in Ado-Ekiti on July 9, 2024. According to the DSS, a gang of seven, recruited by the house help, carried out the abduction. Investigations led to the discovery of Olaofe’s body in a shallow grave at a farm settlement near Airport Road, Ado-Ekiti.

The DSS expressed gratitude to the state government for its support and announced that the case will soon be transferred to the State Police Command for prosecution.
