Emir Sanusi’s First Speech After Reinstatement as Kano Emir.
After receiving his appointment letter, Emir Sanusi praised Governor Yusuf and the House of Assembly for their courage in reinstating him, which he believes “saves” Kano state and Nigeria.
Sanusi stated his reinstatement shows that no one can stand against God’s plan, saying, “Whatever is happening to an individual is preordained by Allah and is a lesson for those who are sensible enough.”
Meanwhile, a Federal High Court in Kano issued an order stopping the enforcement of the Kano State Emirate Council Repeal Law. Justice Mohammed Liman granted the order following an application by Alhaji Aminu Babba Dan Agundi, involving several respondents including the Kano State Government and various security agencies.
