Jami’u Abiola, son of Chief MKO Abiola, the late victor of the June 12, 1993, annulled presidential election, has been appointed by President Bola Tinubu as his Senior Special Assistant on Linguistics and Foreign Matters.
In a statement released in Abuja on Wednesday, Segun Imohiosen, Director of Information and Public Relations in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, revealed this.
According to a portion of the statement, “The appointment takes effect from November 14, 2024.” According to the modified Certain Political and Judicial Office Holders (Salaries and Allowances, etc.) Act 2008, this is in accordance with its terms.
Jami’u was the Office of the Vice President’s Special Assistant to the President on Special Duties prior to his appointment.
