Yahaya Bello, former governor of Kogi State, has once again failed to show up in court for his alleged involvement in an N80.2 billion fraud case.
Former Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello has again failed to appear in court for his trial on charges of N80.2 billion fraud brought by the EFCC. Scheduled for arraignment before Justice Emeka Nwite in Abuja, Bello was absent, leading to arguments between legal representatives. A new hearing date of June 27 has been set following the EFCC’s request for an adjournment.
