Shettima Praises Tinubu’s North Commitment.
In his remarks, Vice President Senator Kashim Shettima emphasized President Bola Tinubu’s commitment to addressing challenges in the Northern region, particularly insecurity and food security. Shettima highlighted Tinubu’s deliberate appointments of key ministers from the North, including those in Defence, Police Affairs, Agriculture, and military leadership roles. He defended Tinubu against critics, asserting that the President’s actions demonstrate his dedication to the welfare of Kano, the North, and the entire nation.
Shettima also stressed the importance of unity across political divides, noting that governance transcends party affiliations. He praised the solidarity shown by various political parties during his family’s time of mourning, emphasizing that Nigerians must unite to collectively build a stronger nation.
