Arsenal fail to reach UCL final as they lose to PSG-trophyless season.
Ousmane Dembélé was injured in the first leg victory over Arsenal and was available for nothing more than a spot on the bench for the return match.
Thomas Partey played after missing the first leg due to suspension, so Declan Rice fell back into his familiar number eight position.
Arsenal created the first three chances of the match in the first 15 minutes, but Donnarumma was again his best to keep his team in contention.
The Gunners could not take their chances, however, and conceded the opening goal through a Fabian Ruiz strike to leave PSG 2-0 up on aggregate at halftime.
The second half was a different tale for PSG when they pressured and netted the second goal after missing their penalty.
Arsenal pulled back, hoping for a comeback with Bukayo Saka netting from the cross of Trossard.
PSG hung on for the final whistle to beat Mikel Arteta’s team 2-1 and proceed to the final against Inter Milan.
