Aston Villa set plan to sign Man City star Kevin De Bruyne
On social media, Kevin De Bruyne announced his exit from Manchester City at the end of the ongoing season, when his contract ends in June. While he has done a lot for Manchester City, the extension is purely a club decision and not a player initiative.
According to many, the Belgian is the best midfielder in the history of the Premier League. The figures speak, with 107 goals and 177 assists in about 417 games. He has six Premier League titles, two FA Cups, five League Cups, and, to top it all, the 2023 Champions League, establishing the treble.
The Belgians are currently making a case for Manchester City’s Premier League rivals, Aston Villa, with their intention to move with the family from the UK.
Reports also emanated from Sky Sports that Aston Villa is looking into a possibility of signing the main playmaker, still keeping him in the Premier League.

Unai Emery’s side would still face fierce competition in its quest for De Bruyne, with possible interests from MLS outfits such as Inter Miami, Chicago Fire, NYCFC, and D.C. United.
Other American clubs have already probed the salary and career aspirations of the Belgian midfielder and have inquired about him.
