Military Demobilizes Swamp-Stuck Tanks in Zamfara.
The Defence Headquarters (DHQ) debunked a viral video falsely claiming that 150 people kidnapped in Sokoto State were killed due to an inability to pay ransom. Major General Edward Buba clarified that the video originated from a different African country, not Nigeria. He also reported that troops in Zamfara demobilized two MRAPs stuck in swampy terrain to prevent them from being used by terrorists after being bogged down during an operation.
