Former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has appeared before the Federal High Court in Kaduna to answer fresh charges brought against him by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC).
The anti-corruption agency arraigned El-Ruufai over allegations of financial misconduct and the unlawful conversion of public assets.
This follows new legal action by the ICPC, which submitted an amended nine-count charge against the former governor.
Reports indicate that the ex-governor has been in ICPC custody.
