The White House has stated that while military operations against Iran continue for a fifth day, the United States anticipates gaining “complete” control of the nation’s airspace within hours.

Karoline Leavitt, the White House press secretary, stated that American troops were on the verge of achieving complete aerial supremacy on Wednesday, March 4. “In the coming hours, we anticipate having complete and total dominance over Iranian airspace,” she stated.

United States Secretary of war, Pete Hegseth had earlier claimed that Israel and the US were collaborating to get control of Iranian airspace. Hegseth stated, “We will have complete control of Iranian skies, uncontested airspace,” although he did not give a timeframe.

He added that the objective was to allow allied forces to operate freely in targeting the middle eastern nation’s military capabilities.

“That means we will fly all day, all night, day and night, finding, fixing and finishing the missiles and defense industrial base of the Iranian military,” he said. The statement comes as joint US–Israeli military operations continue across Iran, with both countries targeting missile sites and defence infrastructure as part of the escalating conflict in the region.
