Bolaji Idowu, the founder and lead pastor of Harvesters International Christian Center (HICC), has been arrested over real estate and money laundering fraudulent activities totaling up to N1.5 billion.
He was arrested by Abuja’s Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) of the Nigerian police and is currently being interrogated over these charges labeled against him.
According to a police source who chose to remain anonymous, “The case emanated from one of his pastors who duped several people in a real estate scheme.
“The police investigation showed that several billions of naira in the scheme were traced first to Pastor Bolaji’s church account and later to his personal account.
“The Next Level Prayer Conference, Pastor Bolaji Idowu, has been arrested by the police, and he is being grilled in Abuja over real estate fraud and money laundering.”
Pastor Idowu is the convener of “Next Level Prayer Conference,” with physical presence in Nigeria, UK, and even in the U.S.
