Archewell Foundation directed to halt charity activities following ‘delinquency’ finding.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s charity, the Archewell Foundation, has been deemed delinquent in California for failing to pay required fees and submit annual reports. Consequently, the foundation is unable to raise funds until the outstanding issues are resolved. A source close to Archewell mentioned that the initial payment was lost in transit but has since been reissued, with expectations of the matter being rectified within days. California Attorney General Rob Bonta issued a notice of delinquency, citing incomplete renewal information from the organization. Despite this setback, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been actively involved in charitable endeavors, recently focusing on causes such as supporting wounded veterans during their visit to Nigeria.
