The David Mark-led faction of the African Democratic Congress ADC has expelled the party’s former Deputy National Chairman, Nafiu Bala Gombe, and a member of the House of Representatives, Leke Abejide from the party.
The ruling was made public on Tuesday during the party’s National Congress in Abuja.

The Mark-led ADC also expelled Elias Adiukwu, Stella Chukwu, and Kenneth Ehiator.
Despite allegations that he previously resigned from his role as Deputy National Chairman, Nafiu Bala Gombe maintains that he is the party’s legitimate National Chairman.

A suit filed by Bala led to INEC’s decision to de-recognize the David Mark ADC leadership.
