Pascal Okechukwu, widely known as Cubana Chief Priest, has announced his intention to contest for a seat in the House of Representatives under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Cubana Chief Priest revealed this in a video shared online following a visit to the APC secretariat in Imo State.
In the video, he informed party officials of his desire to represent the Orsu, Orlu, and Oru East Federal Constituency in the 2027 general elections.
In a caption accompanying the post, he stated that he had formally notified party leaders of his ambition and received assurances of their support.
“I came to congratulate and encourage our party leaders and also to share my humble desire to represent my people at the House of Representatives,” he said. “God is in control; let His will be done.”

During the visit, one party leader praised him, describing him as a versatile individual who has made a positive impact.
“I don’t know if you’re a motivational speaker, businessman, or politician; you fit into all,” the official said, adding that the party would support his ambition.
Cubana Chief Priest has recently been outspoken in his support for the ruling party and the current administration.
Cubana Chief Priest was also appointed as the Imo Director of the City Boy Movement, a youth group backing President Bola Tinubu’s re-election.
