Aloy Ejimakor, counsel to detained Nnamdi Kanu, has reacted to the reported loss of celebrity businessman Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, in the All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Representatives primary election.
In a post shared on his verified X account on Monday, Aloy Ejimakor claimed that Cubana Chief Priest’s defeat reflected growing dissatisfaction among Ndigbo, including APC members, with President Bola Tinubu.
Cubana Chief Priest had reportedly failed to secure the APC ticket for the Orlu/Orsu/Oru East Federal Constituency in Imo State.

However, the socialite later stated that he did not participate in the exercise following the party leadership’s adoption of a zoning arrangement.
Reacting to the development, Aloy Ejimakor argued that the outcome was an indication of the political mood ahead of the 2027 elections.
According to him, Cubana Chief Priest’s “massive loss” despite his perceived closeness to Seyi Tinubu suggested that many Igbo people were unhappy with the current administration.
He further claimed that the result could serve as an early signal of what may happen politically in 2027.
