Nollywood actress and producer Toyin Abraham has opened up about how her husband, Kolawole Ajeyemi, once warned that their marriage could be in jeopardy if she continued smoking cigarettes.
The actress made the revelation during a recent episode of The Moraya Show, where she spoke about her past struggle with cigarette addiction.
According to Abraham, she eventually gave up smoking because she did not want her habit to affect or cost her marriage. She also praised Ajeyemi for the positive role he has played in both her personal life and career.
However, the actress admitted that although she no longer smokes cigarettes, she still uses vapes.
“My husband, Kolawole Ajeyemi is one of the best things that ever happened to me. He lets me shine and be me. I used to be a cigarette addict but he warned me that if I don’t stop smoking our marriage won’t work. I had to stop it because I valued my marriage. Well, I have stopped cigarettes but I still do vapes,” Abraham said.
Toyin Abraham further explained that her husband is not controlling and allows her the freedom to do things that make her happy, as long as they are safe.

According to Toyin, her husband’s firm warning about exposing their child to her cigarette habit eventually convinced her to quit smoking cigarettes, although she said she still vapes occasionally.
