Iran has vowed to strike oil facilities, undersea cables, data centers, and artificial intelligence infrastructure across up to seven Gulf nations if US and Israel forces launch a new attack, according to Mohsen Rezaei, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council.
Meanwhile, Mehdi Mohammadi—an adviser to hardliner Mohammad Ghalibaf, who led Iranian negotiations with the US to end the standoff—stated that Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu had agreed in principle on a strike, but failed to guarantee a successful outcome.
He added: “We see the next conflict as an existential threat. The third war in two years means a threat to existence. Our strategy is ‘zero red lines’.”
Mohammadi said: “We break the temporal and spatial dimensions of the conflict. The war will continue longer and in a wider geographical area than the enemy anticipates.”
US military advisors and Israeli defense planners have compiled a comprehensive target list for a potential joint military strike on Iran following the US midterm elections on November 3.
The proposed target list includes Iranian energy infrastructure, nuclear sites, regime assets, and drone and missile production facilities. The post-election timeline aligns with explicit operational commitments to delay major military actions until after November 3.
Foreign minister to meet
Meanwhile, according to sources, Foreign ministers from three European nations, alongside counterparts from Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and Egypt, will convene in Istanbul on Friday to forge a unified diplomatic strategy addressing the interconnected crises in Yemen, Palestine, and Iran.
The high-level talks come amid growing international concern that both Tehran and Washington are now operating under the assumption of inevitable military conflict.
On Wednesday, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed responsibility for simultaneous attacks on four commercial vessels navigating the Strait of Hormuz, alleging the ships were engaged in ship-to-ship oil transfers.

Backstory…
Although Donald Trump has reversed course on launching strikes against Iran seven times over the past four months, US officials report that stalled diplomatic talks have revived plans for a potential military assault targeting Iranian nuclear facilities, oil infrastructure, and missile sites.
Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth in Israel on Monday to finalize the timing, objectives, and potential political fallout of a joint strike ahead of upcoming elections.
