Cancer fraud: Blessing CEO reacts after Kirikiri remand, says she pleaded not guilty

Controversial self-acclaimed relationship expert, Blessing CEO, has reacted after being remanded in Kirikiri Correctional Centre.

Blessing CEO was re-arraigned on Wednesday over an alleged N13 million fraud case involving fake cancer claims, just hours after she was granted N10 million bail on Tuesday in a separate alleged N69.1 million tenancy fraud case.

In a trending post shared on her Instagram page on Wednesday afternoon, Blessing CEO disclosed that she had been remanded in Kirikiri prison after spending 26 days in the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

She stated that she pleaded not guilty to all the charges brought against her by the anti-graft agency, adding that it was her second time being remanded in the correctional facility.

“I’m in high spirit. Cancer drama, N13 million donated and the girl who said I doctored her result. I pleaded not guilty to all the charges after spending 26 days in EFCC custody. I have now been remanded in Kirikiri Correctional Centre pending when I perfect my bail,” she wrote.

Blessing CEO also recalled her previous stay in prison in 2022 over alleged defamation and cyberbullying.

“Second time in Kirikiri Correctional Centre. The first time was in 2022 over alleged defamation and cyberbullying. At this point, maybe I should contest for president,” she added jokingly.
