Diesel Price Soars 68% to N1,415.06/ltr.
The average retail price of diesel surged 68.01% YoY to N1,415.06/ltr in April, as per the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS). On a MoM basis, diesel prices rose by 5.51% from N1,341.16 in March 2024. State-level data showed Taraba, Bauchi, and Borno with the highest prices, while Niger, Kogi, and Adamawa had the lowest. The North East zone reported the highest average price at N1,553.80/ltr, while the North Central had the lowest at N1,307.21/ltr
