Sources revealed that Ani’s death occurred on Thursday following a dispute with a customer. According to sources,  altercation began when the customer left his car headlights on while parked at the eatery. When Ani politely asked the customer to turn off the lights, he instead found the customer’s wife inside the vehicle, leading to a heated exchange that ultimately ended in the tragedy.

An eye witness recounted the incident stating that an argument broke out when Ani tried to clarify his request, explaining that he only requested that the car’s headlights be dimmed, adding that dispute quickly turned sour when the customer allegedly assaulted Ani, punching him repeatedly, leading to his collapse and subsequent death.

Following the ugly incident, the management of the eatery quickly intervened, apprehending the suspect and turned him into the Mini-Okoro/ woji police division.
