Don’t Rush Into Marriage Without Financial Stability – Jarvis Advises Singles

Nigerian TikTok personality Amadou Elizabeth Aminata, popularly known as Jarvis, has offered relationship and marriage advice as she prepares for her white wedding with fellow content creator, Peller.

The social media influencer encouraged young Nigerians not to succumb to societal pressure to get married until they are financially prepared for the responsibilities that come with marriage.

Jarvis also advised intending couples to consider holding their traditional and white weddings in separate years as a practical way to reduce the financial burden associated with wedding ceremonies.

Speaking in a recent livestream, Jarvis said, “If you don’t have money, don’t get married. Don’t try it, I beg you.

“But if you are planning of getting married, you can share it by doing traditional wedding this year and do the white wedding the next year. 

“We almost postponed our wedding, but even if we put it in the next 50 years, we are never going to prepare for the wedding.”

It would be recalled that Peller and Jarvis recently announced that their white wedding is scheduled to take place on August 1, 2026.

The couple traditionally tied the knot in Benin City, Edo State, last month, with the ceremony drawing congratulatory messages from fans and fellow content creators.
