The General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries International, Apostle Johnson Suleman, has stirred up controversy once more after making a startling declaration while he was giving a sermon on kindness. The clergy man boasted about his followers’ readiness to use violence against anyone who condemns him.
The well-known cleric made this statement during a church event on Friday, April 4, 2025, in a video that now circulated social media.

Apostle Suleman stated that speaking negatively about him in Auchi, Edo State, close to his church grounds could have severe outcomes.
In a video posted on an X account identified as onejoblessboy, Apostle Suleman said “If you want to die and you’ve been praying for death, but it hasn’t come, there’s a way to make it happen,” Suleman said.
“Come to Auchi, stand by the front gate of our church, and say something against me. Somebody will kill you, another will bury you, and the third will be doing praise and worship on your dead body,” he stated.
Following the clergy man’s comment, some individuals have expressed concerns over his remarks online, with many wondering if it is right for a religious leader to make such statements.
Apostle Suleman while citing an instance of kindness further recounted a case in which alleged cultists stood up to someone who had insulted him. He revealed that the group brought the offender to the cleric to apologize after beating him up.

“I’ve had cult boys bring people to me and say, ‘This boy was insulting you, we beat him and told him to apologise.’ I asked them, ‘Who are you?’ They said, ‘You no go like who we be, but you don help us.’ Kindness,” Apostle Suleman said.
