Famous Blogger Exposes Why Asake Exited Olamide’s YBNL.

Recently, a renowned blogger from Nigeria has started talking and circulating news about why famous Nigerian artist Asake found his way out of the record label of fellow singer Olamide named YBNL.

It is recalled that, in a previous report, Naijaeyes  stated that singer Asake of “Remember” hit fame has left Olamide’s YBNL. Asake unfollowed Olamide and anyone related on Instagram, and that was just the beginning.

In another news, popular Nigerian singer Asake who recently graced the 20k Capacity O2 Arena venue for shows twice within a year decided to erase YBNL from his Instagram bio. Not in attendance by the particular singer were any of Olamide’s recent concert held in Lagos.

Controversy on an idea of separation between singer Asake and Olamide has raised mixed reactions over the internet with calls to the singers particularly Asake to quickly settle things with his boss/elder brother Olamide.

However, famous Instagram blogger Cutie_juls in a viral post stressed that singer Asake left YBNL record after the boss Olamide presented him with a new contract after his contract expired but the “MMS” hitmaker refused to sign a new contract.

According to the blogger, everything is being tried to get Olamide to renew Asake’s contract, but he’s refusing to sign another one, saying he wants to leave YBNL and be his own boss.

The blogger also added that with this ongoing incident described as the breakup of singer Asake and Olamide.

Insiders say the contract of Asake with Olamide’s YBNL has expired, and when Olamide presented a new contract to Asake, he never signed it.

OLAMIDE has tried everything within his power to renew his record label with Asake but ASAKE refused.

Just two weeks ago, Asake just decided to quit the deal to be his own boss.
Let us hope they talk things through and get Asake back.

You know, from the time of dem lil kesh – chinko ekun, however, every artist he signed has been so excited with to-close-of-two-year contract. So after the two years, they can choose to leave or stay at YBNL…. but I put it to you that if you leave YBNL, you can’t leave Olamide Baddo… Asake sef don try and Olamide sef don give many people limelight even those that are not singing 🎤 👏… YBNL mafia forever ❤️.

clyde.jnr_: Even if he decides to leave, that doesn’t mean he should unfollow everybody, and this is the problem with some artists, because you don’t have a fan base, if you have your own record label, it doesn’t mean it will hold; it may not even stand for one year…..

greatseunrec: I thought he had taken the ybnl logo out from all his handles like 6 months ago. Record label business is risky. You can sign 10 artists and only one will become a star. While you are thinking that you will use the profit made from the one to cover the losses on the 9, that one will also leave you either by war or amicably. Asake really did well in the two years he stayed with Olamide. So, I believe it is a really profitable Biz for Olamide. Both of them shld be grateful to each other.

preyee_baby: It’s disappointing for Olamide to see this happen. It’s not common to see people who won’t come after the type of fame asake gained. I think he deserves that, but he shouldn’t have done it without warning Olamide in advance for the sake of courtesy and what happened before.
