Wizkid Strikes Gold! ‘One Love’ Wins Grammy Glory
The Nigerian musicians Wizkid and Bloody Civilian are being showered with excitement by their fans on the social media since their triumphs during the 67th Grammy award held at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
Late reggae legend Bob Marley: One Love (Music Inspired by the Film) won the Grammy for Best Reggae Album on February 2.
Wizkid worked on One Love, while Bloody Civilian, whose real name is Emoseh Khamofu, made a contribution to Natural Mystic.
The project which coincides with the hugely successful film of the same name features covers and remakes of some of Bob Marley” s greatest and well-known hits: Natural Mystic, Exodus, Waiting in Vain, Three Little Birds, One Love, Redemption Song, and Is This Love.
Other nominees for Best Reggae Album were Evolution by The Wailers, Never Gets Late Here by Shenseea, Collie Buddz’ Take It Easy, and Team Party by Vybz Kartel.
