The Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency has announced that the return airlift of pilgrims from Saudi Arabia to Nigeria will begin on June 15, 2026.
The Chairman of the Agency, Malam Salihu S. Abubakar, disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday, noting that all pilgrims will be airlifted back home in the same order in which they arrived in the Kingdom for the 2026 Hajj exercise.
The statement, signed by the agency’s Public Relations Officer, Ibrahim Datti, explained that pilgrims who travelled on the first outbound flight will also be on the first return flight, with others scheduled accordingly based on their original travel groups.
Abubakar emphasized that no pilgrim will be allowed to switch or choose a different return flight outside the official arrangement set by the agency.
“Pilgrims who arrived on the first flight will return on the first flight, while other groups will be transported according to their respective schedules,” he said.
He also urged all Kaduna pilgrims to cooperate with officials and strictly follow the approved return schedule to ensure a smooth and orderly airlift process.
