Hair dresser, dispatch nabs with hard drugs.
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) recently made significant arrests in Bayelsa, Adamawa, and Osun States, seizing illicit drugs and apprehending suspects involved in their distribution. In Bayelsa, a 20-year-old hair stylist named Josephine Odunu and a 30-year-old dispatch rider named Edesemi Ikporo were caught selling cannabis-laced chin-chin to students and at social gatherings.
Edesemi was intercepted with 200 grams of the drugged chin-chin, while Josephine was found distributing it from her salon, where an additional 3.00kg was discovered.
In Adamawa, two wanted suspects, Ajim Samuel and Davidson Joshua, were arrested while transporting 14,428 pills of tramadol hidden in their car.

They were apprehended along the Numan-Jalingo road, along with 21 grams of cannabis and cash. Meanwhile, in Osun, a 49-year-old bus driver named Ogunleye Adegoke was caught with tramadol capsules, Rohypnol tablets, and codeine syrup concealed in his vehicle’s spare tire compartment.
Additionally, NDLEA officers seized 343,000 pills of opioids from Lawan Abubakar in Bauchi, and the Nigerian Army handed over Muhammadu Rabi’u to the NDLEA in Bauchi, who was found with 64,000 tramadol pills. These operations highlight the NDLEA’s ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking and distribution across Nigeria.
