Gov Idris Approves N2.7bn for Kebbi Students’ Welfare
“The governor has approved and released N117.2 million for upkeep and housing allowances for 25 Kebbi State students in different universities in Egypt,” said the commissioner.
He further revealed that the state government also pays return tickets for graduates who recently finished their studies at Indian universities.

“His Excellency further saw to the payment of return tickets for eight Kebbi indigenes who graduated from a private university in India, costing N14.4 million,” he said.
According to Abubakar-Tunga, the entire disbursement totals more than N2.7 billion and caters to local and foreign students alike.
He commended the governor for his commitment to education.
