The Premier League match at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium between Tottenham and Chelsea saw a thrilling encounter between these London rivals, and a total of seven goals were scored, with Chelsea coming from behind to take all three points.
Tottenham went two goals up in the 5th and 11th minutes by Solanke and Kulusevski before an equalizer for Chelsea came in the 17th minute by Jadon Sancho to make it 2-1 before halftime.
The second half looked all different for the Blues as they piled in on the pressure on the Tottenham defense to get a penalty in the 61st minute converted by Cole ‘Ice Cold’ Palmer to make it 2-2.
Enzo Fernández made it 2-3 with a powerful finish to go past the Tottenham goalie. And then Cole Palmer converted another penalty given in the 84th minute to make it 2-4.
It was all too late for Tottenham to make it a draw or get something out of the match as Heung-min Son scored for the home side to make it 3-4.
The EPL clash finished with Chelsea leading in ball possession at 62%, 10 corners, 8 shots on target (50% conversion), and 443 accurate passes in the full ninety minutes.
Chelsea are currently 3rd on the Premier League table with 28 points, 7 points behind League Leaders Liverpool, while Tottenham are sitting badly on 11th position with 20 points, 1 point above Manchester United, who are in 13th position with 19 points.
Interestingly, Chelsea are the only team among the Big Four to win their match this weekend. Manchester City drew with Crystal Palace, the Liverpool derby with Everton was postponed, Arsenal drew with Fulham, and the Red Devils lost at home to Nottingham Forest.
