Video captures the moment singer Portable leaps over a gate to evade police arrest amid allegations of unpaid debt for his G-Wagon.
Singer Portable has been apprehended by officers from the Lagos State Police Command on May 14, following a complaint lodged by a car dealer. Allegedly, Portable purchased a G-Wagon valued at N27 million from the dealer, made an initial payment, and drove off with the vehicle, promising to settle the outstanding balance later.
However, Portable failed to fulfill his promise, claiming the purchased car had defects when contacted by the dealer. Despite the dealer’s request for either the return of the car or payment of the remaining balance, Portable purportedly refused to comply.
Upon receiving the dealer’s petition, law enforcement acted swiftly, resulting in the singer’s arrest, and he is presently in police custody. SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the spokesperson for the Lagos State Police Command, confirmed Portable’s arrest.
Meanwhile, a video has emerged showing Portable leaping over a gate in an attempt to evade police arrest, showcasing his agility and resourcefulness in a tense situation.
