Controversial self-acclaimed relationship expert, Blessing CEO, has reacted to the death of actor Alex Ekubo.
Reports indicate that the actor died at a Lagos hospital on Monday after battling stage 4 liver cancer.
Reacting to the news, Blessing CEO—appearing to reference her earlier claim of having stage 4 cancer—expressed shock and wrote: “God will punish cancer.”
Sharing Alex’s photo on her Instagram page, she added: “God will punish cancer. We waited for u to show up. You fought silently. Rest in peace.”
It would be recalled that in March 2026, Blessing CEO had sought public financial assistance for her alleged stage 4 breast cancer chemotherapy treatment.
However, Blessin CEO claim later sparked controversy after she presented a medical report which the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), Delta State chapter, alleged had been altered. The report was said to have originated from Xinus Medical Diagnostics and signed by consultant pathologist, Dr. O.A. Odigwe.
Following the controversy, social media activist VeryDarkMan filed a petition that was approved by the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), calling for an investigation into the matter.
