Emeka Ike, a Nollywood actor and House of Representatives candidate, on Monday expressed dissatisfaction with the results of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) primary election for the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) seat, sparking a protest at the INEC office in Abuja.
Ike, who recently declared his bid for a House of Representatives seat, stormed the INEC office, alleging that the primary election was conducted irregularly.
Addressing officials during the protest, Ike expressed anger over the electoral process, insisting that he would not remain silent over.
He said, “We don’t have an address when the election is going on. I am an aspirant, I’m a Nigerian.
“You won’t go away with this. I don’t do social media activism. INEC will not escape this”
