Nigerian singer Ayra Starr is set to make history as the first African artiste to headline an NFL international halftime show.
The ‘Heaven Baby’ crooner will headline the halftime performance at the 2026 NFL London Games at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on October 11.
The NFL announced the development on Thursday through its official X account.
“Global Afrobeats superstar @ayrastarr will headline the halftime show during the 2026 NFL London Game on Sunday, Oct. 11 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium!” the NFL announced.
Ayra Starr will perform during the highly anticipated game between the Philadelphia Eagles and Jacksonville Jaguars.
The upcoming performance adds another major milestone to the singer’s growing international career and further highlights the global rise of Afrobeats.
