A Channels TV reporter has been kidnapped in Port Harcourt, with the gunmen demanding a N30 million ransom.
Channels Television reporter, Mr. Joshua Rogers, was kidnapped from his residence in Rumuosi, Rivers State, at around 9 pm on Thursday, April 11, 2024. Rogers, who covers the Rivers State Government House, was reportedly trailed after work. He was abducted by gunmen who demanded a N30 million ransom. The kidnappers contacted his wife and demanded the ransom. Channels TV has not released an official statement yet, but his cameraman confirmed the incident. The police have not confirmed or denied the abduction when contacted.
