BREAKING: Military seeks 8 Nigerians wanted for killing 17 soldiers in Delta.

The Defence Headquarters has announced the names of eight individuals wanted for their involvement in the killing of 17 military personnel in Delta State. These individuals include Prof. Ekpekpo Arthur, Andaowei Dennis Bakriri, Akevwru Daniel Omotegbo (Aka Amagben), Akata Malawa David, Sinclear Oliki, Clement Ikolo Oghenerukeywe, Reuben Baru, and Igoli Ebi.

During a briefing in Abuja, Major General Edward Buba, the Director of Defence Media Operations, urged Nigerians, particularly residents of Delta and nearby states, to provide credible information leading to the arrest of these suspects. The military is determined to apprehend those responsible for the heinous act and rescue all kidnapped victims in Nigeria.

Echoing similar sentiments, Chief of Army Staff Lt. General Taoreed Lagbaja assured the families of the fallen heroes of support, emphasizing the care extended to widows, orphans, and dependents affected by the tragedy. Despite the demoralizing incident, Chief of Defence Staff General Christopher Musa reaffirmed the military’s commitment to restoring peace across the country, vowing to hunt down the perpetrators and bring them to justice.
