Adeleke inherited 80% infrastructural deficit from previous administration.
Gov. Ademola Adeleke of Osun State says he inherited over 80% infrastructural deficit from the previous administration. He made this known at a program organized by the Osun Development Association in Lagos. Adeleke, represented by Chief Lai Orilowo, Group Managing Director of Odua Investment Company Limited, highlighted efforts to address the deficit and ensure positive results, including completing unfinished projects and ending the regime of “half salary” for workers. He emphasized the importance of infrastructure in driving development and solicited support for initiatives in digital economy, education, health, and agriculture. The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, commended the association’s efforts and urged continued support for state development. Dr. Segun Aina, Chairman of the association, outlined interventions aimed at promoting peace and development in the state, including the inauguration of a council of elders for advisory support.
