Spyro says some of his colleagues went broke after spending money on parties and South African women

Nigerian singer Spyro has stated that the financial struggles of some of his colleagues are a result of excessive spending on parties and women, particularly foreign women, including those from South Africa.

Speaking to fans during his performance at an event over the weekend, the Who’s Your Guy crooner described lavish spending on women and unnecessary pleasures as poor financial decisions.

According to him, while there is nothing wrong with enjoying life and being generous to women, it should be done wisely and within reason.

He advised his male fans to focus more on saving and investing rather than wasting money on things that do not add value.

“If you are here and spending money on women, I think you are wasting your time. I’m not saying you shouldn’t spend on your woman, but use your head.

“I know some of my colleagues who went broke because they made their first money and spent it on parties and trips to South Africa. But I didn’t take that path, and that’s why I’m where I am today,” he said.

Spyro also revealed that when he became wealthy and famous, several Instagram models approached him, but he turned them down — including some who offered to sponsor vacations abroad — choosing instead to remain focused on his music career and investments.
