WhiteMoney Clarifies Controversial Remark About Shallipopi
Reality star Hazel Oyeze Onou, popularly known as Whitemoney, recently fired back at claims that he insulted fellow artist Crown Uzana, also known as Shallipopi, during an Instagram live session.
Initially, Whitemoney had spoken about his well-traveled background and experiences, remarking that he had “more exposure” than someone else, though he didn’t mention any names. However, a blogger interpreted his comments as directed toward Shallipopi, sparking a social media storm.
In response to this rumor, Whitemoney posted a heated video on his Instagram, refuting the claim and hurling curses at the blogger. He called upon “thunder” and the traditional god of Ogun state to address the blogger, vowing that no one could bring him down.
He also emphasized that he’s on a winning streak, both in his music career and in gaining international opportunities, and warned bloggers to stop creating rifts between him and his fellow artists.
In his video, Whitemoney also set the record straight about his relationship with Shallipopi, clarifying that he had nothing but respect and goodwill for the musician.
He added a sincere apology to Shallipopi for any confusion and affirmed that there’s no ill will between them.
The video garnered significant reactions from fans, many of whom rallied around Whitemoney, supporting his message and dismissing the rumors.
Comments like “You’re loved” and “Don’t mind them, just keep winning” filled his page, showing fans’ backing for the musician’s stance.
Ultimately, Whitemoney’s fiery reply and his reassurance to Shallipopi emphasized his determination not to let rumors or online gossip affect his success.
His strong words and loyal fan base served as a reminder of his resilience in the face of criticism, cementing his focus on his music and continued growth.
