Tyson Fury lost his championship rematch against Oleksandr Usyk through a unanimous decision as both heavyweights went blow for blow on Saturday night.

Usyk was awarded the fight 116-112 by all three judges, thereby making him unbeaten in two divisions and placed as one of the best heavyweights in boxing history.

This win puts Usyk on a 23-0 win streak with 14 knockouts. He moves to have one of the all-time best careers with an Olympic gold and undisputed champion at cruiserweight.

He joins the likes of Muhammad Ali, Joe Louis, and Mike Tyson as undisputed heavyweights and the first of the four-belt era, even though he had to relinquish his IBF title instead of fighting Daniel Dubois, who won Anthony Joshua.

The Ukrainian commented about Fury; he said, “He’s a great fighter; it’s a great performance. Unbelievable 24 rounds for my career.”

However, Fury felt different about the fight, and Usyk said, “I thought I’d won both fights, but then again, I’ve got two losses on my record now, so there’s not much I can do about it.

“I can just fight me heart out and do the best I can. But I’ll always believe until the day I die that I won that fight.”

A total of $190 million is meant to be shared among both fighters, with Usyk looking to get the higher share as the champion.
