American rapper Nicki Minaj has opened up about why she stopped attending church regularly.
Speaking during a recent episode of The Bryce Crawford Podcast, Nicki Minaj said her church attendance declined after her music career began to gain momentum.
According to the rapper, her decision was not driven by a change in beliefs but by the demands of her work schedule, which often leaves her exhausted after performing on weekends.
“Once my career started taking off, I stopped going to church. I was working on Friday nights and Saturday nights, so the last thing I could do was wake up on Sunday mornings to go to church,” she said.
Despite no longer attending church regularly, Minaj said she still maintains a strong relationship with God.
She acknowledged that she sometimes struggles with consistency in her spiritual life but remains committed to strengthening her faith.
The rapper added that her faith continues to grow as she progresses in her spiritual journey.
