Controversial singer Speed Darlington has once again stirred up social media with a bold claim about Afrobeats superstar Davido.

During one of his infamous live sessions, known for his uncensored takes, Darlington confidently alleged that Davido is planning to marry a second wife.  

He claimed the “Timeless” crooner, who recently tied the knot with Chioma Adeleke, is reportedly searching for another Igbo woman to add to his family. Speed delivered his remarks with a serious tone, sparking heated debates online.  

The claim quickly divided fans. While some dismissed it as one of Darlington’s typical stunts to stay relevant, others couldn’t help but wonder if there was any truth to it.

Many see Speed Darlington as a master of controversy, known for his regular jabs at top Afrobeats stars like Burna Boy and others. For them, this was just another wild attempt to grab attention.  

Fans flooded the internet with mixed reactions. Tina Nwadowu commented, “Speed Darlington, if someone doesn’t discipline you, your mouth will keep running. Leave my favorite couple Davido and Chioma alone!”  

Another user, Emem Efiong, joked, “Speed Darlington doesn’t know how to lie. 30BG already knows the truth. Chioma’s assurance might just be in the mud!”  

One fan, with a sarcastic tone, wrote, “Davido should be made the Minister of Randy Men Association under Tinubu’s government. I’ll vote for him and even sponsor him with my betting wins!”  

Meanwhile, Abidoun Ayatan humorously pointed out, “Is it really his second wife? Aren’t all those baby mamas technically his wives already, since they haven’t married anyone else?”
