Popular Nigerian activist Martins Vincent Otse, better known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), couldn’t hide his excitement after finally meeting music mogul Don Jazzy face-to-face.
The emotional encounter followed Don Jazzy’s generous donation of ₦100 million to VDM’s NGO, a gesture that left the activist deeply moved.
Taking to Instagram on November 19th, 2024, VDM shared a heartfelt video expressing gratitude to Don Jazzy for his immense support. The activist revealed how the funds would boost his organization, which focuses on providing quality education for children in public primary schools.
His NGO also aims to tackle graduate unemployment by creating teaching opportunities, offering an alternative to common survival jobs like POS operations and street trading.
VDM recently traveled to Lagos and used the chance to meet Don Jazzy before returning to Abuja.
In the shared clip, he showered the Mavin boss with words of appreciation and prayers, emphasizing how rare it is for someone to donate such a huge amount to a cause, especially when there’s no family connection.
“Don Jazzy, you’re truly one of a kind. Supporting a stranger like this isn’t something anyone can easily do. Thank you for believing in my vision,” VDM said.
In response, Don Jazzy humbly wished the activist well in his ongoing mission to transform education for underprivileged children.
