Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has agreed personal terms with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) on a five-year deal. PSG and Napoli are currently negotiating his transfer fee.

Following his request to be transferred from Napoli, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia met his request, as he has signed a 5-year deal with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).

Initially, it was revealed the Georgian winger had made his request to Antonio Conte, who was disappointed at the forward’s request to leave Napoli just after signing a new contract.

Conte said, “Regarding Kvara, he has now asked the club to be sold. I’m telling you without mincing any words.

“It was signalled to me, and then the player himself confirmed it to me. Personally, I feel really disappointed. I spent six months with him and the rest of the team, making him feel at the centre of the project.

“We worked with the club to get his contract renewed, but after six months we are back to square one.

“I take these things head on, but I haven’t had the cutting edge [to keep him]. Now I’m at a point where I have to take a step back because I can’t chain people to the club who don’t want to be here.

“It was a bolt from the blue. Now the player’s representatives and the club will resolve the situation. And if he ever stays, he must never think I wanted to chain him to the club.

“I did this this summer, a bit presumptuously, as I thought I would be able to convince him. I didn’t succeed.

“And obviously, he is not available to play against Verona.”

However, Kvaratskhelia has agreed personal terms with PSG, as announced by Fabrizio Romano on X.

The caption on Romano’s tweet reads, “Paris Saint-Germain have agreed every term of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s contract for the next five years.

“The salary will be x4/5 his current one at Napoli.

“PSG are in negotiations with Napoli, as revealed here two days ago… …new meeting next week to get it done.”

Other Rumours are saying PSG are also looking to sign Nigerian striker Osimhen in a bid to unite both players who were instrumental in Napoli’s charge to the Serie A title in the 2023/2024 season.
