Whitemoney Claims Shallipopi, Compares Their Careers, says “I’m More Exposed Than Him”

Former Big Brother Naija star Whitemoney, whose real name is Hazel Oyeze Onou, recently stirred social media conversations after a clip of him comparing his career to fellow musician Crown Uzana, known as Shallipopi, started making rounds online.

In the video, Whitemoney casually discussed the unique elements that have fueled his career, throwing in a few remarks about Shallipopi’s journey in music as well.

During the live chat with his fans, Whitemoney mentioned that while Shallipopi might lack strong vocals, his undeniable “swag” compensates for it, helping him connect with fans.

According to Whitemoney, swag can sometimes be just as influential as vocal ability, as it creates a strong vibe that audiences love. He even noted that “swag” alone can propel artists to new heights, and Shallipopi is no exception.

Whitemoney then went on to share a bit about his own experiences, including his travels across eight U.S. states, where he performed his songs to crowds singing along with him.

Using these experiences, he suggested that his level of exposure in the industry surpassed Shallipopi’s and that his diverse background gives him insight into the industry that could be valuable for Shallipopi.

Confidently, he stated, “Musically, I’m more exposed than him… In every angle for entertainment, I pass am.”

As expected, his comments sparked reactions from fans and followers. Some felt Whitemoney’s remarks were bold, while others questioned his claims.

One person said, “Whitemoney shouldn’t even be talking about music at all,” and another sarcastically added, “Which people dey sing Whitemoney songs word for word?”

The online chatter highlights the often competitive nature of the music scene, especially as more reality stars venture into music.

Whitemoney’s comments have not only kept him in the spotlight but also added fuel to the ongoing discussions about authenticity, talent, and swag in today’s music industry.
